We added node once to DM box. The node is shown on the admin console but as not started mode. We went to the box stopped/started the node and server in that box. Still, the ndm admin console shows the node stopped mode.
We eventually thought to delete and readd it. We stopped node, server and added the node again. But this time, we can not even add the node to the DM.
It seems that the DM keeps the previous info of the node. But we are not sure where to look for. Could you please give some idea/suggestion
Thanks a lot |

One more info, when we created a new node ( profile) and added to the DM, we can add it but cannot be started.
Also, I found that the nodes information ( physical name) is kept under the profile directory, but does deleting this directory from the Dmgr01 profile will remove the /solve the problem of node is already added to the DM?
Thanks |

you should use the "manageprofiles" (or wasprofiles) command under <inst_root>/bin folder to remove a profile
e.g:./manageprofiles.sh -listProfiles
will list the profiles.
first remove the federation from DM by issuing "removenode" . see its help for options
