We faced some communication problem during implementation of “MQ Client to Server” connection.

The connection was broken time to time, from unknown reason. The issue seems to be resolved by adding "KeepAlive=yes" property to qm.ini file.

We would like to know if it’s save and reasonable to use this configuration in Production environment?

Absolutely. In fact, you will probably run into more problems if you don't.
