In WMBT, the EventLog seems to be exactly 1-hour behind the date-time stamp in /var/mqsilog/syslog.user ???

You need to get the jztu utility from http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/dst/index.html to update the JVM that is used by WMB toolkit - and then the times will match.

I'm actually finding that the ConfigMgr is not updating the times it reports when I change timezone, unless I restart the ConfigMgr.

Thanks Bill. Still trying to implement the fix but other tasks keep getting in the way. So maybe later this week...

Jeff, is your CM on Windows? Our's is on AIX.

So it turns out I was using a so-called "sandbox" AIX CM environment which apparently did not have the DST patches applied.

Sorry for the falsie

Should you have shutdown the CM before you applied any DST fixes?

Yes, indeed I did.

That's not what I said.

I said that, if for example, I change my computer to run on Mountain Time rather than Eastern Time, then ConfigMgr still thinks it's running on Eastern Time unless I restart it.
