64 bit
The migration guide has detailed information on the implications of this change. You may also find the Application Programming Guide/Reference useful in terms of linking applications. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I wasn't aware that MQ on z/OS had stepped up to "above the bar" (i.e. 64 bit) applications, or indeed that MQ itself had gone (even partially) 64-bit on z/OS.
Did I miss something?
Cheers

It's by no means impossible I've misread / misunderstood the documentation. It's my understanding that it's moved above the line in line with the distributed platforms, but I'm prepared to be corrected.
Certainly not actually using v6 on z/OS atm so can offer no direct evidence! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

MQ V6 for Z/OS will support 64 bit, according to whether your CPU will or won't support 64 Bit.
Damn bad luck if you want a 64 Bit Cobol Copybook supplied however.
Enjoy
