When trying to move the messages between two qmgrs have issues with the data and it is getting corrupted.
This is happening when the data contains special chars like É,Í etc
while moving the message from one QMGR to other QMGR this special chars data is getting corrupted
Both the queue manager are clustered and at the mq V6.0 and they are using the CCSID 817 and encoding as 273
Have tried moving the messages by using the alias-remote-local queue model and by using customized tool also.
In both the ways the messages data is getting corrupted
Can anyone have faced this problem and if yes please reply |

Hi prasadv,
Do u have a NLS_LANG entry in your .profile (not sure if its called the same on a HP-UX)...try "export NLS_LANG=.UTF8"
In the queues, what do the charaters look like ? You should use RFHUtil to check the Hex representation...and verify it against the codepage.
Regards. |
