Configure the other services to wait until MQ is started.

Or configure MQ to wait until the other services have started.

Yeah, I guess I read that backwards.

At least I've got my coffee in front of me now, even if I haven't drank any yet.

It's happened to us all at one time or another, especially in times of coffee depravation.

Thanks every one for the replies.

The question is how to configure the start after an other services. I have looked at "Denpendcy.." but that option can not edited from the "admintool->services->service-name". I had at regitry as well but there was not an obvious otion to edit.

Apart from setting both services to start "Manually" and place them in batch file in startup what is the best way to do it and how to it.

Can some help me please?

Regards

I use sc config if I need to set a dependancy (depend=). I have a potentially unhealthy fondness for command line interfaces, there may be a GUI way someone else knows about.

What does your Windows system administrator recommend?

You might be able to do this with the SC command.

Thanks.

sc does not accept the service name as the one listed udner the services. I had a look at registry under MQ series and could not find it is called. the only thing I found was AuthorizationService which is not accepted as a service by SC

What is the name of MQ Series in Regiestry or the one accepted/recognized by SC?

Please help
