Hi,
Below options are valid only If MQ application(API,MQI) directly interacting with below software's right ?
Suppose ,I have WMQ6.0 server and oracle 8 in one server but my MQ application doesn't directly interact with oracle .Do I still need to upgrade oracle to supported level (Oracle 9i Release 2 Patch Set 4 (9.2.0.5) )?

External transaction processing monitors
WebSphere® Application Server, Version 5.1 (except on Windows® 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional)
BEA Tuxedo, Version 8.1
TX Series V5.1
WebLogic version 8.1
Databases
IBM® DB2 Universal Database™, Version 8.2.
Informix® Dynamic Server (IDS) Version 9.40
Oracle 9i Release 2 Patch Set 4 (9.2.0.5)
Oracle 10g
Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 12.5.1

I'm almost 100% sure that this only has to do with using the queue manager as a Transaction Manager.
