Hi all. through launchpad I tried to install broker 6 on winXp system as system admin(plenty of space), worked fine. but when trying to install broker toolkit it fails, saying it cannot find a file. only other websphere software i have on this is wmq 5.3 server that runs fine.
I have even found other posts where users experience this, but no help:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/dw_thread.jsp?forum=281&thread=112324&cat=9
Has anyone else experienced this?
One side note as this was my first attempt. I had extracted broker6 to dir called c:\wb6 and only extracted brokertool v6 disk 1 to c:\wb6t1. Im not sure but may it be that I must create a directory c:\instbroker and inside, extract each disk? \instbroker\Disk1, \instbroker\Disk2, \instbroker\Disk3....
thanks for any help. |

You have described the solution - each disk must be in its own directory - and make their names lowercase, disk1, disk2, etc - thru disk5. _________________ Bill Matthews |

Even if you want you can extract all files in to one disk (disk1)also.. |
