I have tool kit and broker in different servers....but how can execute create the default configuration?, in toolkit, display message:
"This wizard has been disabled as no locally installed broker runtimes are present"

Hi ovasquez,
If you don't have runtime installed, then u can't create a configMgr or Broker.
What u can do is, create the same on the server (where u have the runtime), set up connectivity between the systems, give your user required rights (ACL entry) and then use your toolkit to connect to the remote configMgr and Broker...

Or you could temporarily install the toolkit on the server machine (so long as it's Windows or Linux).
The Default Configuration Wizard is primarily a tool to help new users get the product running on their development machines; it isn't targetted at users setting up a production server environment. |
