Transformation Services, in this context, is probably the subcomponent that differentiates Event Broker from Message Broker.
You won't be able to install them separately - or don't want to. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

ok, but in c3466211.pdf:
i don't underestand
Chapter 6. Choosing what to install
WebSphere Message Broker consists of four runtime components and the Message Broker Toolkit.
Runtime components The runtime components are available on all supported operating systems. On distributed systems, you can choose to install one or more components; when you install on z/OS, all the runtime components are installed; you cannot choose to install a subset.
...
You can install any combination of these components, and you can install them more than once on any system. For more details about how different installations can coexist. _________________ Oscar Vásquez Flores |

Well the toolkit will only work on Linux and windows.
You can install the toolkit only. You will have to connect it eventually to a broker but you can choose to install the broker on a different platform...(AIX, Solaris etc...) Enjoy _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
