Hi ,
Do we need to apply any fixes for MQ/WMB regarding DayLight Saving Time ???
Why we need to take care of this. What kind of impact we will get if we don't apply any fixes.
Can any one throw more light on it.
Thank you

I read the following from the IBM site
(if any of Java applications running in a JRE supplied with MQ uses time functions, a JRE Service Release upgrade is required and it is avilable in
V5.3 Fixpack 13 containing Java 1.3.1 SR10 (4Q this year)
*****************
We have WMQ 5.3 on AIX and to apply fixes to effect the DST2007 I have to apply Fixpack 13..but is not available I guess. What should I do.
I think I have to apply IBM Time Zone Update Utility for Java for this beacuse Fixpack13 is not available.
we have mqsi 2.1 alos, what should we do with DST fixes for this ?? I don't see any support for this .
Your time will be appreicated
Thank you

MQSI 2.1 is out of support. You need to convert to WMB 6.0. _________________ Joseph

2.1 isn't supported anymore. So that means you are on your own.
I think it would be a great time to push for the upgrade, considering what could happen with this DST issue. (hint hint) |

There's been no support for this for a few months now. Behold the business case for the upgrade:
