I configured a JMS Topic Conection Factory on WAS 6.0 using WMQ 5.3/CSD10 (client mode) on a newly created server an by just doing this I got a number of errors during thje server startup.

I saw that WAS comes with two jars: com.ibm.mq.jar and com.ibm.mqjms.jar under <WAS_INSTALL_ROOT>/lib/WMQ/lib

Are they compatible wth WMQ 5.3? Should I use those shipped by WMQ?

In the latter case, is there any certified solution?

Am I supposed to replace with those shipped by WMQ or to install WMQ client and change "MQ_INSTALL_ROOT" configuration variable?


Any help will be appreciated

Problem solved:

you do have install WMQ client and change WAS
"MQ_INSTALL_ROOT" configuration variable?
