Hi All,

I am trying an expiration activity. I have set _STATE=_EXPIRED condition at one activity and the set the expiration time too. But, even after scheduling server check interval time (and after set expiration time), the process flow is not flowing to the activity to which it should go after expiration. It is always going to the activity to which it should go before expiration ie to the activity where I have set the condition as _STATE<>_EXPIRED. What could be wrong here? Can anybody suggest me please.

Thank you!

Let me see if I understand you correctly, this is what I am hearing:

you have an activity "A" which has an expiration time set.
you have a connector from "A" which has as its condition "_State() = _Expired"
you have a second connector from "A" which has as its condition "_State() <> _Expired"
your flow always follows the NOT EXPIRED connector

The only way for this to be possible is that the activity is NOT Expiring. You state that you have waited based on the check interval of the scheduling server, however, this is not the correct amount of time you must wait, you must wait for the "Notification Check Interval" amount of time for the scheduling server to run, also the Scheduling server must be running.

Thanks John!

You got it right. But, I am waitting till the notification check interval. I am only checking after the Activity expiration set time. How do i check if the scheduling server is running?

Thanks.
