Hi,
I finished installing MQ 6.0 on a system, which is part of a domain. Created queue manager and queues from the explorer and they are all working fine.
When i log onto the domain(the local user id and the domain id's are the same)I can still open the explorer, but not able to see anything underneath the queue manger and a runmqsc command returns a 'Not authourised' error.
I started the MQ service as the domain user, sill does not work. the domain user id is part of the mqm group.
Any help will be much appreciated
regards,
Joe |

There is a post here somewhere with a list of the specific permissions required to let a non-mqm user use MQExplorer. I think if you search for 'MQExplorer', it's relatively easy to find.
There are specific instructions in the Quick Beginnings Guide for Windows for what is necessary to allow MQ to authenticate domain users. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks for the advice guys ...
I got it working. All I did was to close the explorer, stopped the service and started the Queue manager from command prompt and started the service. once I open the explorer again it shows all the details.
Cheers !!!
