Hi,

I think I know the answer to this but can someone confirm this please?

If you are calling a webservice from WBIMB (i.e. httpRequest), do you need the biphttplistener process running?

I think the answer to this is "NO", but just want to be sure. As far as I am aware, you only need the biphttplistner process running if you are acting as web-service in the broker(i.e. httpInput). Is this correct?

I would like to switch the process off when the broker starts up as it uses alot of CPU. We do use webservices but only make calls out not in.

Answer on this would be much appreciated.

Hi,

You are correct. The HTTPRequest Node does not use the bipbttplistener process at all.

if your broker'database is shut down or no response, then you mqsistart broker ,you may detect that you can't find the biphttplistner process of this broker.
Best regards....
