In WMB v6, is anyone aware of how I can get the broker to publish request messages rather than Datagrams? If I make it a request message coming in to the node, with a reply to queue name included, what comes out is a datagram with the reply to queue name blanked out. Yet, I want to publish a request to a system(s) and want to get replies back and wanted to use the standards around MQ processing for that, with the receiving application not having to code to what queue to reply to but just put back to whatever queue is in the reply to queue name field.
Thanks. |

You *might* be able to do what you want by manually building an MQRFH2 with a Publish command, but in a message that is an MQMT_REQUEST type in the MQMD.Type field.
I'm sure you can't configure the Publication node to do this.
And I'm not sure that Pub/Sub, either MQ or Broker, supports anything other than datagrams. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
