Hi Guys,
I know this forum is not for asking individual command, rather for discussion and problem solving. I am aware of it and keep minimum. Also, I am asking after trying myself first. Hope you execuse me.
Q1. I could not find how to check the status of configmgr and broker. I mean, mqsilist list them but does not tell whether they are running or stopped. Is there any command line command which tells me the status of these components?
Q2. Do I need to bother stopping mq qmgr before issuing MQSIdeleteconfigmgr command?
I could not find a way to check the version of the FP in MB. Could you please tell me where I can find system info?
Thank you in advance for your help |

Q1. There are a number of ways to check whether the broker is running:
a) look at the system log
b) Use mqsilist -e to probe the execution group, which will only return success if it is running
c) In v6, use the Config Manager Proxy, which can tell you if brokers and CMs are running. The ConfigMgr RunStateChecker and DomainInfo samples specifically do this.
Q2. No.
Q3 [Checking FP level] Use mqsiservice -v
