Hello

We are using Message Broker Version 6.0.2. When I try to use the debugger, it is not showing any flow engines when I browse for those. I am looking for some immediate help for this as even IBM support is struggling for a while to figure out what could be the issue.

Thanks.

Right version of Agent Controller?

Started Agent Controller?

Started Agent Controller *before* Broker?

Agent Controller security has allowed you to connect and access the things you need?

Agent Controller has the right access permissions to the directory where it's pipe files will be?

Have you verified the port being used by the Agent Controller - that the same number is used in the toolkit for the agent port?

Is there a firewall between the toolkit machine and the broker?

Don't remember. It is another person who does the installs. Just remembered that that was what our problem was when no execution group showed up.

Enjoy

The pipe files are in /tmp directory on UNIX systems. Also, make sure that the links in /usr/lib for RAC libraries are correct. If not run the removelinks.sh and createlinks.sh scripts.

If the links are correct make sure that the AgentControllerConfiguration tag in serviceconfig.xml file has the following entries are set:

isDataMultiplexed=true
filePort=0
LoggingLevel=DEBUG
LoggingDetail=HIGH

After that make sure that the servicelog.log file shows the UUID of the DFEs as being registered.

If still no luck, open a PMR...

This should not be our way of solving issues

Can u see the flow engine running in the task manager ?

Is this problem existing even if you create a new execution group ?

Regards.
