I have got a channel on a queue manager on iSeries for MQ 5.3 CSD12. The transmission queue linked to this channel has been trigger-enabled and used to work. However, I have just noticed that triggering has stopped working; in fact all channels from this queue manager to other queue managers are not being triggered into activity even though there are messages on the xmitq(s). The trigger criteria is: FIRST, DEPTH=1 and the trigger data parameter is the channel name.
Has anyone come across this problem? I understand installing CSD11 (or CSD12) may be the root cause.

Did you apply the CSD with the QMGR running? This could have stopped the channel.
Are messages building up in the XMIT queue? If so, you can never get another trigger message generated until you empty the XMIT queue, because your TRIGGER is set to FIRST! _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

And your trigint is too big(11 days?)
Just start the channels manually...this once... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I have gone back to CSD11 and this seems to have resolved the problem.
