Hi All,

I am new to Omegamon and installed Omegamon XE.... But from the Candle Omegamon XE Program menu, I am getting only three menus (candle build level listing, Manage condle Service and a readme). In CMS window, there is no CNP.... Is it expected or some thing wrong.... With these I am not getting how to use it to monitor MQ..... Please, give your inputs and links to related documentation....

TIA,

The CNP has to be installed seperately.... But are you starting to use Candle software ? I thought this would be IBM software for some time now.

Thanks Remco_QNH,

Yah, now Omegamon is coming as a IBM product only. And now I have installed the same. Whether Omegamon DE is needed for CNP? or from where can we get CNP. Could you please, give some docs in this regard?

Thanks again,

Alpan,

CNP is a seperate product as far as i know. You should have a seperate install CD for it. Maybe you have got CCC (Candle Command Centre). This also is a GUI for adminstrating the CMS, Agents, ed. The CNP is just newer. What version are you trying to run ?

I am using CMs 3,0,0,2
Now, I have installed both Omegamon XE as well as DE.....So, I am getting CNPS in CMS Explorer.New problem arised: It is telling "user authorization has failed" when I try to start CNP with the user id and passwords which was given while installation (User Id and password for CNPS database). Does it any way related to the Entry option which we can change while installation to "use case as typed"?...
Please help...
TIA,

People,

U can get all the information regarding the product @ http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/tividd/td/tdprodlist.html under 'O'.

The logging problem was because of user id. First time after default installation, user id should be given as 'sysadmin' and no password.

Thanks,
