After our unix machine is failed over to it's backup, everything normally seems to be running fine. This most recent time, the cluster sender channels did not start up. There were certainly messages waiting (150k+). This happened over the weekend, so time out shouldn't be a problem.
Intermediate resolution: I manually started the 3 sender channels, which started running and clearing the backlog.
My question is fairly simple: since messages were coming into the designated cluster transmit queue, what part of the process isn't working? Is there a SYSTEM.CHANNEL.INITQ analog for the cluster senders also?
If possible, I need to do something to insure that this failover process works without manual intervention.

cluster sender channels should start automatically, except when they have been stopped. what was the status of the channels before you started them manually? _________________ Regards, Butcher |

They didn't show up in chstatus lists, so I'm guessing inactive.
