I'm trying to set up publish/subscribe model in cluster environment

i'm using WebSphere 5.3 with Fix Pack 12 running on windows
and trying to run mqjmspub/mqjmssub example

The thing is : pub/sub brokers won't connect across the network

scenario goes like this:
on one computer i have QM1,QM2,QM3 connected in a cluster CL1 (QM1 & QM2 are repositories)
another computer contains QM4 which also belongs to the cluster CL1

when i start pub/sub broker on QM1 and set brokers for QM2 and QM3 as it's children everything works perfectly
but when i try to start pub/sub broker on QM4 naming it's parent as QM1,
QM4 is not amongst the children of QM1 (concluded that after running command : amqspsd -m QM1)

guys, i really need help on this cos it's bugging me for a long time and i'm going through all the manuals and documentation and i can't find the cause

Have you confirmed that the connectivity exists between QM1 and QM4 by using remote messages outside of the pub/sub environment?

Yes

I am able to connect to QM1 (with non pub/sub application) and put a message on a shared queue ( owned by QM4)

i guess i'm missing some stupid little thing but it's driving me nuts

any other suggestion about what should i check

Remember with the master slave configuration, when you add a broker to the config you have to change the config on all brokers, not just the master or the slave.

Enjoy
