Just trying to get saveqmgr working on Solaris 5.8. When executing saveqmgr.solaris I get:

ld.so.1: ./saveqmgr.solaris: fatal: libm.so.2: open failed: No such file or directory

bash-2.03$ ldd saveqmgr.solaris
libmqm.so => /usr/lib/libmqm.so
libmqmcs.so => /usr/lib/libmqmcs.so
libmqmzse.so => /usr/lib/libmqmzse.so
libc.so.1 => /usr/lib/libc.so.1
libm.so.2 => (file not found)
libsocket.so.1 => /usr/lib/libsocket.so.1
libthread.so.1 => /usr/lib/libthread.so.1
librt.so.1 => /usr/lib/librt.so.1
libdl.so.1 => /usr/lib/libdl.so.1
libnsl.so.1 => /usr/lib/libnsl.so.1
libaio.so.1 => /usr/lib/libaio.so.1
libmp.so.2 => /usr/lib/libmp.so.2
/usr/platform/SUNW,Ultra-250/lib/libc_psr.so.1

Is it just because the version of Solaris is so old? Anyone any ideas?

Its OK - I sorted it with help from here but I'm sure someone else will hit this:

Under root

cd /usr/lib

ln libm.so.2 libm.so.1

The current build of saveqmgr (v6.0.2) was done on a Solaris 10 machine. The next release will be back on Solaris 9, which will avoid this problem. In the meantime, if anyone needs a version that runs on Solaris 8 or 9, contact me.

That would not work for me (Solaris 9 system). I had to use
Code:
ln -s libm.so.1 libm.so.2
