Dear all,
I want to install Mq Workflow server on machine and Mq series server on another machine.
But I read I should install Mq series server on the same machine of Mq Workflow server.
So what the value to install Mq series server in separate machine if I should install Mq series server on workflow server and there is no cluster.
And if I will do that is there any documentation for installation and configuration for this case.
Thanks all. |

I dont think so. You can use MQ client to point to Q Manager located on different box.
Search this forum for a complete set of documentation for Workflow. |

NO
You must install MQ Server on the machine where you want workflow server. It doesn't matter whether you use clustering or not but this is a must |

You can install both servers on the same machine. Go through installation guides of MQ series and workflow. |

I am not sure if i am wrong, it is not mandatory to install both servers on the same machine, if you use Application server(WAS) for your application. You can install both servers on different machines and you can use workflow client to access it through App Server.
Can any one suggest something here?? |

Again:
MQ Workflow server needs a QMGR local to it. There is no other way. |
