Hi all,

How to access the MQ SQL database using Broker V6? Keep giving me the error "Unresolvable database table reference". Or is there any Red book for reference?? thanks.

Hi angka,

Please try a search...

In control Panel-->Administrative Tasks-->Data Sources(ODBC), Under System DSN you must create an entry for the database...

Also, you might need to use the mqsisetdbparms also.

Regards.

Where are you gettting "unresolvable database table reference"? In toolkit? or in broker exception list at runtime?

Can you use the ODBC DSN to connect to the database with the test connection button?

Can you otherwise use a regular SQLServer tool to connect to the database from the broker machine?

Then you can use mqsisetdbparms to associate a user and a password with the DSN.

Then you can use the DSN just like every other DSN is used in Broker.
