I have installed WBIMB V6 on my laptop. I was trying to start the IBM RAC.I am getting an error as shown below.

" could not start the IBM RAC service on local computer"
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified".

Can anyone help me regarding this?

This question may be trivial but did you install the RAC from the CD?
Did you check whether your RAC agent was running (check in services)
and under which user it has to run?

thanks for your response.

Yes !! I did install it from the CD.
I checked the service RAC agent service is not running and I am unable to start it.
I am trying to run it on local system.

I uinstalled the agent controller and try deleting the agent controller folder and reinstall again.

I could not delete the RAServer.exe, saying Acess is denied.

need your help in this.

hi ,

I just uninstalled everything and removed RAServer.exe from process tree and installed it again.

Its working now.
