Hi,

We are using WMB v6 on AIX server. Configuration and broker are running on the same server.

We changed the broker to use port 7880 for HTTP posts.

mqsistop <bkr>

mqsichangebroker <bkr> -i <id> -a <passwd> -P 7880

mqsistart <bkr>

Finally deployed a test flow (httpinput -->httpreply). We are not able to post on AIX( But same setup works on Windows(local machine)). I heard that the fire wall open for that port.

I did not see the port for the command netstat -a | grep 7880 .

Shell we see the port for the biplistener process ?

(On AIX.. mqsi 925940 577540 0 11:30:43 - 0:05 biphttplistener )

i am sure i deployed http flows many times. also changed broker twice(mqsichangebroker).

I am new to AIX. i need to look at the docs ...mean while if any one has any clue let me know.

odd..I created new execution group and deployed the http flow one more time, recycle the broker and then it worked.

I was using default execution group before. It shoudn't be a problem. i do not know.

Now i can able to see 7880.

Sometimes you have to restart broker twice for some of the httplistener changes to take effect.

Also we are at WMB v6.0.0.0. Better to install the fix pack.
