Hi, folks:
I attempted to execute crtmqm command and got the segmentation fault(coredump) error. So I checked the log in /var/mqm/errors and found the error information below. Please help me out!

Great support answer! You should get a job in a call centre.
We could try looking at the symptoms first, unless you have already found a description of a bug fixed in 6.0.1.0 or 6.0.1.1 which matches this problem.
The FDC shows the real and effective userIDs as 211, and the error text is that it cannot set mqm id.
It looks like the crtmqm binary has the wrong user number associated with it, i.e. 211. This should be the user number of mqm, but for some reason it is not; perhaps the mqm user was deleted and recreated with a different user number?
The easiest action would be to recreate the mqm user with number 211.
You should also check that the mqm group number matches the grojup number on crtmqm, and all the other apps, directories and files.

Also check that the setuid and setgid bits are correct on crtmqm and the other MQ programs. If they are not correct, re-installing per fjb_saper's suggestion maybe the easiest solution. |
