Hi all
Do anyone can assist me to know where actually the container data stored under which Table name ?
For eg: if i enter the custID say 101 , where this value 101 is stored??

Why do you want to know
What is that exactly you are trying to do.
Because you shouldn't be directly dealing with the workflow database because it is kond of proprietary and IBM can change it.
Are you talking about regular container values or GDCs. |

I don't know what they are and I haven't had a reason to know what they are working on workflow.
Probably you should tell what you are trying to do and maybe we can tell a better way of doing it. |

Ok let me explain in detail
I have an activity - which container a datamember called "CustomerID" under the datastructure name "Customers" , I have binded this datastructure to an activity as both Input and output container.
After building the process model i have translated this model to the runtime database and i am starting an activity , i have an work item at my worklist. When i start an activity , I input some value to customerID as "101" ,. So we now know that CustomerID holds "101". Here I want to know where exactly this value "101" is getting stored
I belive i have said in a laymans terminology

In the workflow DB.
In what tables we don't care ..
Is your client not showing these values, or do you want to do something with that value. There are other ways to get these values , but the question was what are you trying to do knowing where its stored.
The layman's terms were nice , but i am afraid it still doesnot address the problem you are having. |
