Hi
I recently upgraded my test machine from v 5.1 to v 5.2.1 (without CSDs). The upgrade was done without installing v 5.1 but using the "Update" option on v 5.2
We have a component created using MQSeries APIs. This component has been working fine with v 5.1. But registering this component against v 5.2.1 resulted in an error. Please also note that we have successfully converted two of our development machines to v 5.2 and the component works fine in these machines.
While registering, I am getting an error
"The procedure entry point @xtr_FNC_entry@8 could not be located in dynamic link library AMQXCS2.dll"
There is only one copy of AMQXCS2.dll in the entire system.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks |

I had similar problem installing 5.2.1 but different DLL. Solution was found in Microsoft knowledge base.

To resolve this issue, replace the following DLL files with new copies from a Windows NT 4.0 computer that is updated to the same service pack level and that is running the same version of Microsoft Internet Explorer as the Windows NT installation on which you experience this issue:

HI,
You probably have both the client and the server installed on the same machine. Some MQ dlls are getting picked up from the client directory and the others from the MQM server direction. Make sure you have only c:\mqm or d:\mqm in the path.
Hope this helps.
