not a fan of complete deploys
My reservations:
1) version control will be tough when you change only one flow and do a complete deploy of all N flows running on that EG. (may introduce new errors).
2). sometimes flows are big. one of my bar files take 5 minutes to deploy, if it fails for any reason, that may results in no flows left behind. |

Well the issue I have with deltas, what happens when you have to roll back changes to teh previous release because some portion of the Application (May not even be MQ) doesnt work in production ??? _________________ Jeff

When you deploy a BAR file, everything inside the bar file is redeployed.
If some portion of a BAR file doesn't work, then create a new BAR file with the subset of components that need to be fixed and deploy that. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Well the roll back may occur for some other reason, and the issue is how do you undo the delta deploy. Example v1.0 and deploy v1.1 and due to some NON MQSI application issue you have to roll back to 1.0 until the issue can be fixed/tested. _________________ Jeff

There is no "rollback".
You deploy the v1.0 bar file again, or you create a new bar file with the v1.0 pieces that didn't deploy, and deploy that. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

The issue with that 1.0 will not have all the flows that changed in 1.1 since it is a delta deploy from say 0.9 _________________ Jeff

Well then the meaning of delta in your context is different from that of message broker terminology. |
