Hi
I am facing a problem where a hex character 'oa' is getting appended to my message.I trued to debug the problem and i found that my OutputRoot.MRM value gave me the blob value as 'oa' through ASBITSTREAM even when the OutputRoot.MRM did not have any value.
Thus My outputRoor.MRM is empty but when i do
SET blb_OutputBLOB = ASBITSTREAM(OutputRoot.MRM, Encoding,CodedCharSetId, MS_SET, MS_TYPE, MS_FORMAT);
I get the blob as oa
Can some one please help me out. |

Hi,
When you say the character 'oa' do you mean the line feed character hex '0a'. When you say you are running CSD 7 do you mean V5.0 CSD7 ? Is the message format you are using TDS? If you are using TDS please can you post the values of the TDS properties for the complex type of your message. That is Data Element Separation, Group Indicator, Group Terminator, Delimiter etc...

Hi juddgg
Thanks for the tip.The delimiter was specified as <LF> which is the hex 'oa',which was getting appended at the end of the record.
I have now specified "Fixed Length" in space of "All elements seperated" for Data Element Seperator field in the message set. |
