I tried all previous solutions posted here regarding creation of a domain from toolkit v6. I have Message Broker and Configuaration-manager both v6 installed on AIX 5.3, MQ 5 with CSD 4. When i try to connect to the configuration manager from my windows 2000, it gives me BIP0889E.
I tried the following steps, yet with no success:
1. enusred that the config-mgr and its q-mgr are running, and the channel listener for that q-mgr is on on TCP port 1414.
2. ensured that the command server is on for that q-mgr.
3. ensured that both ACL entries exist with full permissions to my unix & windows user.
4. started all mq channels related to WBI.
still it doesn't connect and i don't have any more ideas. Has anyone experieced similiar porblems on AIX ? is there a fixpack to message broker/cfg-mgr v6 which solves this issue ?
Thanks,
Harel

I've accidentally created an ACL entry with my unix username instead of my windows user name used on the computer on which the toolkit was installed.
Works great, thanks Frank. |
