WAS and QMGR are on the same solaris server, this QMGR and the HOST QMGR are part of the cluster.
QCF settings are configured to local bindings with the queue.JVM unable make the connection.

From the same qmgr on WAS server,I'm able to put messages to the host queue using amqsput utility but not through WAS.

Is there any specific configurations that we need to do to a cluster queue?
Please advise

The JVM can't make the connection?

Why not?

How do you know?

1)Cluster queue on host
2)Was able to put messages from the WAS qmgr to the same queue using amqsput utility

Bindings mode,WAS qmgr name and queue name are specified in the queue settings.

One more interesteing : If you just specify the local queue instead of this cluster queue ,it works fine

First, you need to make sure that you are not trying to GET from a qcluster.

Second, you need to examine the JVM logs much more thoroughly to find out the rest of the information that will help you understand the MQJMS2008.

Thirdly, you need to look at the MQ Error logs to see if there is any additional information that may explain the error more.
