Hi.. i´m using cache functions instead of cache nodes.... is it true that you have to use a cache get node to clean up the messages in memory?

There is a function to retrieve data from memory called createFromNamedCache.

The last parameter (COULD BE TRUE OR FALSE) says that it can detroy data when retrieving or not.

If that is true... is it necessary to use a cache node to clean up?

You need either a CachePut or a CacheGet node in a flow for deletion of stale items to occur. It does not occur when you call the cache node from ESQL, unless it is the item that the ESQL function call is directly referencing.

If you do a destructive get from createFromNamedCache, then there's nothing left that needs to be cleaned up.
