Check your MQ. Create a QM and try to start it. I think it is an issue with MQ.

Workflow unable to access MQ

It certanily is an MQ issue... you don't say what OS MQWF is running on... you should look at the AMQERR01.LOG file, that should give you more info as to what is failing (is the database manager running?)

If you are working in a network domain. Install MQ Client. It works

you can find MQ Client (for Windows OS) in add/remove programs.Click on MQ and click on Change ....Where you can add Client feature.

While configuring FMC (as default configuration) on DB2, Win2000, The Configuration Utility crashes, but it creates both Buildtime and Runtime databases, but fails to create the Queue. I don't see my queue in the Websphere MQ Explorer and I can't open Runtime client - i get the same "commnunication" error.
Any solutions?

Check Fmcsys and FmcErr log files and post the error messages.

If the queues were not created, WF Server will not start and WF Runtime client will through the communication exception. You have to investigate why the queues were not created.

could this be a hint:

The qmgr isn't running. You should look at the qmgr error file (AMQERR01.LOG) to find out why.

Check the XA string in the resources tab of your MQ. Most probably the password does not match with the DB password. Use MQWF utilities (fmczutil) to keep DB and MQ in sync. Check the logs and you will see the MQ return code (2122?) that creates the error.
