do you mean the client version of RFHUTIL. In fact two of my entry on RFHUTIL are missed. I can not see them. I do not know what happened.
As I rem a discussion, I can not install RFHUTIL only right? MQ has to be in stall?
I am trying to do either mq6.0 or rfhutil. My apps guys want to see the message put by their app in the queues.
Ok. Thansk |

IH03 comes with two executables. One is named rfhutil, one is named rfhutilc.
Both are part of the same package. You do not need MQ installed to install either - they are executables, just copy them.
But you always need MQ installed to run any MQ application. What form, client or server, you wish to install then dictates what type of connection the MQ applications can make.
The RFHUTIL executable is bound against the server libraries. It can therefore only run on machines with MQ Server installed.
FOLLOWING THE NAMING CONVENTION ESTABLISHED FOR ALL THE SAMPLE PROGRAMS, the RFHUTILC program is bound against the client libraries.
It can therefore only run on a machine that has the MQ Client installed. This may or may not be the same machine as a machine that also has MQServer on it.
RFHUTILC follows the same rules as every other client application in how it functions and how it can connect to different queue managers. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
