The MQ base classes may better serve this purpose, but I am required to use the JMS classes in my situation and don't know about the wisdom of mixing base MQ and JMS MQ.

So I have come to the conclusion that the only way to clear a queue is to read it till empty. The problem I'm getting with the JMS classes is there can be things wrong with the header and an exception will be thrown, the message left on the queue.

Is there a way to clear a queue with the JMS classes regardless of the health of the messages?

thanks for any ideas,
