In MQ V6, there seems to be a new -r paramater for runmqlsr. Tried searching all the documents and infocenter, but it is not documented anywhere.
Anybody knows what this -r parameter is used for? |

I do not think there is such a parameter for runmqlsr. How did you come to hear of it? |

I define a listener with QMGR Control and the I start the QM. When I do a ps -ef | grep runmqlsr, I find that the process runmqlsr -r -m <qmgr> -t tcp -p 1414 exists.
Furthermore, I manuallly entered runmqlsr with the -r option on the command line, and there was no error reported.
When I tried this on MQ 5.3, it reported AMQ7027: Argument '-r' supplied to command 'runmqlsr' is invalid. |

FWIW...
The -r flag to runmqlsr stops the listener being registered with the amqzmgr0 process, so it cannot then be seen by the DISPLAY LISTENER command in runmqsc. |
I think you mean" DISPLAY LSSTATUS" .... _________________ -wayne |
