Hi,
We have workflow 3.5 on Windows 2000. For some of our automatic activites we need the PEA to be running for a certain user. So we start the pea by giving the following command,
fmcxspea -u=WFUSER -p=password -y=FMC1
It works fine, but what we have seen in the Windows task manager is that the process fmcxpea starts under the user who has logged on to the Windows system, in our case it is a domain ID. So when we log off from Windows, the fmcxpea also terminates.
Customer requirement is that the Windows user should be logged off when not required, but of course Workflow service and the pea should be up and continue running?
How do we solve this issue? Is there any way we can start the PEA and make it run under any SYSTEM user so that it does not terminate when we log off from Windows?
Thanks,
-Murali |

Hi,
Thanks for the suggession. We are searching Windows help to make it as a service.
Has anybody already implemented this as a service? Any guidelines and commands to make it to run as a service and if there are any points to take care of etc?
Thanks
