Folks,
I have MQ CLuster setup .. in a round robin fashion ..I have Cluster queue with same name created on two servers so messages go to one of the two MQ Servers and are processed from there ..
I want to know , are these messages stored in the repository or invidualy on each of the machines ? What i want to know is if one server goes down for some reason , Can the messages which were in that machine before it went down be retrieved from other machine in Cluser with full repository ?
regards

the cluster repository only holds cluster information (about cluster queuemanagers and cluster queues), it does not store application messages.
so messages are stored in the local queues you defined in every queuemanager. if one of them is down, you can not access the messages.
the only setup where this is possible is shared queues on z/OS environment. _________________ Regards, Butcher |
