Hi
I have installed MQ series 5.3 on windows 2k with CSD 07 . After installation while creating Queue manager i am getting following errors..
1) It has generated FDC with details as follows
Minor error code :: ipic_LOG_LOCATION_INVALID
Major error code :: xceF_E_UNEXPECTED_RC
2) While creating Queue managers I am getting folllowing error in Error log 01
Unable to create Queue manager
MQ Return error 536892949 (Object Can Not Be Created)
3) Though I have installed CSD 07 ,when i give 'mqver' command on command line I get following out put (it do not show CSD 07)
Name : WebSphere MQ
Version : 530
CMVC Level : p00_L021011

What DID you specify for your log location - does it actually exist? |

Did you install MQ on a local drive or a network drive? Log paths cannot be networked.

Log files are on local machine only ...
And they are defined ..

Well, you could try a more current CSD (not 8 or 9) and see if that helps before you open a PMR.
