I want to know when we connect the Qmanger from Client application, is the username and password is secured while go thro wire. is it secured? if not how to secured?
please advice

first the password is not sent, just the userid and I pretty sure it goes as plain text.

It will change in version 5.3 I guess, why shoukd IBM else introduce SSL and other security functions. So if you can wait a month, on june 28. there should be a new realse available... (on some platforms) including some documentation..
