Hi Everyone,
We have a development Windows 2003 Server box with 10 queue managers on it. I am trying to add a further 4 queue managers and am getting a "process cannot be started - return code 128" when I try to create a queue manager in the MQ explorer.
When I try the same command from the command line, it creates the queue manager OK but the command server or any listener I create fails to start with error AMQ4128.
I'm starting to think there are not enough resources on this box to cope with the additional services - is this possible?
Unfortunately someone set the language to German so diagnosis is proving slow.
Any help much appreciated! MQ is 5.3.7 |

I don't understand why you need to have so many queue-managers running at the same time on one machine... _________________ WebSphere Application Server 7.0 z/OS &

Neither do I - but that's what the developers want. |

One possible reason is partner agreements requiring logical separation of data flows.
One possible reason is acting as an MQ service provider. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

German, now that's funny. It's a good thing you're on that side of the pond. I'd have a hell of a time finding someone who was literate in German here in Arizona. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |
