I am using WBIMB V5 on W2K Server. I am currently trying to use the debug facility but experiencing some problems.

hostname=ioco_cdr1

The steps are:

1. Select "Attach" after clicking on Flow debug perspective.
2. Double click on localhost, then click on "Next" button

I then get a "Security Message" window, where it asks for:
User name, Password. Once the information has been given, it just hangs and eventually comes back with the following error:

"Information you exchange with this Agent controller cannot be viewed or changed by others.
However, it cannot be determined whether this Agent Controller is the intended target on host ioco_cdr1.
Inorder to verify the target Agent Controller is correct, you must import the certificate of the Agent Controller on host ioco_cdr1."

Reason:
IWAT0017E Security certificate not available for host ioco_cdr1
Make sure that you have the correct security certificates imported into the workspace.

Amol

Hi Amol,

Is the Agent controller installed on the Local system.... I presume it is...

I guess u did not disable security when u installed the Agent controller, also did not specify the users who will access the Agent Controller.

I would suggest you uninstall and Install it again and this time disable the Security.

Should work after that.

Regards.

As per my understanding I installed it by choosing the disable security option, how can I check that at this stage?

I have created lot of flows before & used debugging as wel, but i don't know how this problem come around.

And if I do the uninstallation of Agent controller, is it affect my created flows ?

Amol

Hi Amol,

You should have let us know that u've been using this for some time now....Dont get hasty now and delete it...

The Error states that the security certificate needs to be imported into the workspace.....

Why dont you try an import-->Security Certificate-->point to the Agent controller security certificate file (.arm)

Hope it works.

Regards.

Hi jamolv,

I thought u got it fixed....

I'm running short of ideas

Ok, u got to tell us if you have made any user, password or any kind of security changes which could cause a problem like this...

A last resort would be reinstalling the Agent Controller, and it will not effect the toolkit or any flows....

regards.

Hi jamolv,

What id are u starting the Agent Controller Service with ?
Make it the LocalSystem in Services.

If you are starting it, restart your toolkit also.

Also, in the config folder in the Agent Controller installed directory, you'll find serviceconfig.xml..... Just check for the following

Code:
<Hosts configuration="default">
<Allow host="LOCAL" />
</Hosts>

maybe you can try the config files in MB folder also....

Best of luck

regards.
