This might be a silly question so pardon my asking if it is.
I there an easy way to pre-populate the Qmgrs on the V6 eclipse-powered MQ Explorer without having to go through the interface to add every one separately?
I would much rather pump the information to a file and see them in MQ Explorer but maybe I'm asking for too much.
In theory you can copy the contents of the directory:
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\IBM\MQ Explorer\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.mq.explorer.ui
between installs and it should all just work, in particualr the file WMQ_Handles.xml is responsible for storing the queue manager connection properties.
Having said that the "offical" way is of course to use the import/export tool provided, so no gaurentees it won't do something odd! - but it should work _________________ --
