I am running an application from my PC which uses MQ Series installed on an NT server. When I try to connect to MQ on the server I get the following error;
_______________________________________________________
AMQ9203: A configuration error for TCP/IP occurred.
......
The return code from the TCP/IP (connect) call was 10049 (X'2741').

However, when another user logs on to my PC and runs the application this error does not occur.
Does anyone know how this issue arises and how to resolve it?

Check how you are specifying your connection vs your buddies? Are you using IP addresses or hostnames. Are you using the proper FQDN? If hostnames, are they resolvable by the NT box?
One of the potential reasons for 10049 is a hostname resolution error.
Also, you really should try to post more info on how you are connecting vs your other buddies. What is different about their connection vs yours. What method, what commands, what options etc. More info is much better towards helping to resolve your problem.
