I have searched the web and cannot find where I can download the System Administration Guide help file. Basically, the Admin Guide in soft-copy. When I went to MQ Admin class there was one installed on the PC. But since installing MQ 5.3 I cannot find it in the installation.
Anyone know where I can get it on soft copy? |

The WMQ manuals are not provided with the installation, although what's called the "help center"is, but this is only a very brief explanation of object parameters.
I wonder where you've been looking for it - just went to google, typed "mq manuals" and clicked "i'm feeling lucky"and immediately found myself in the link ashoon just gave you. If, by any chance, you've been trying to search the IBM site, never ever do it again the IBM site is, without question, one of the worst sites on the web, you can't find *anything* you're looking for, even if you have the exact product name and version; they even change page addresses from time to time, so that one's entire link list becomes outdated.
I myself treat this as a strange mind game between me and IBM, like an odd sort of ongoing riddle in the sunday papers "find the hidden webpage", but it must be frustrating for a newbie.
Use google or MQSeries.net for all your WMQ needs.
(this has been a commercial message, brought to you by WMQ - your asynchronous channel into the future) |
