on MQ worklfow 3.4 what is limit of the process instances to run.??. In general, what are the constraints and things to consider??

Depends on a lot of variables... have a look at the Performance support pack WP01.

Could you explain more. My client is looking for more than 30000 process instances to run. Lot of variables means how many workflow systems and execution servers?.
I will have a look at WP01

What is the time period... how many activities etc... 30000/hour would not be unreasonable... 30000/minute probably would.... you get the idea. I think after you look at WP01 you will have a much better idea
