Has anyone seen the following error before?
The attempt to update object '%CHLBATCH.8' on queue manager '<queue manager>' failed with reason code 2042.
We have a channel going from an as/400 to Solaris and this error is being produced by the Solaris queue manager. The channel is in RETRY status.
Thanks,
Tim |

Try searching for "CHLBATCH" and see if any of the returned posts help.

Already done that, thanks.
There was no match for a 2042 ('object in use') with the CHLBATCH object. Strangely enough, the error continued even after a reboot of Solaris.
